From there, I became the Youth and Education Minister with the Ripley Church of Christ, Big Prairie, OH. After 8 years in that capacity, I became the Senior Minister, serving for 5 years. In 2000, Bright Christian Church, Lawrenceburg, Indiana called me to be the Associate Minister. Following 9 years in that capacity, I returned to Ripley Church in June 2009 to be the Senior Minister. Best Part of Ministry: Being able to see lives changed. It's exciting to see how God works and uses people to influence people. Specifically, I like being able to be used in many different ways; not being locked into the same routine. Hobbies: Coaching baseball and softball. Auto racing. Tractor Pulls. Fishing. Spending time with my family traveling. Cruising!! Interesting tid-bit: I like to cook. I get terrible motion sick just riding in a car but I enjoy cruising on a ship.

In February 2012 I moved back to the area I grew up in and began my ministry at Ripley Church of Christ. Best Part of Ministry: Leading people to worship and seeing them pour their hearts out to God. I love seeing them connect to God though different avenues of art/music. I also love getting people involved int community through small groups and seeing them become family with their brothers and sisters in Christ. Ripley Church is seeking a full-time Youth Minister to fill a vacant position.
Successful candidate will be a team-player with other staff (Full time Senior Minister, Worship Minister, Office Manager), providing the overall vision for, leadership of, and development of the youth ministry (Administer Nursery through grade 5. Personal touch / direction of the Junior / Senior High). Present coaches are in place and need someone to provide leadership / direction. The congregation is very youth minded, providing outstanding support for youth ministry. As the church grows, the position may have potential of specializing toward particular age levels. A four bedroom parsonage is available.
Ripley is a progressive country church located 5 miles from Round Lake Christian Camp, smack dab in the middle of Amish Country, Ohio (Holmes County). A great place to raise a family. General Information: average Sunday worship attendance is 285; blended music style utilizing a full worship team / band; small groups.
